David served as Pierre Poilievre’s Director of Policy, managing the policy process for the next Prime Minister of Canada. Working closely with Mr. Poilievre, he led all policy initiatives driven by the leader, wrote major components of longer-term policy projects, was policy lead for Prime Minister’s Question Period preparations, stewarded the Conservative Caucus’ Shadow Cabinet process, and captained a team of policy professionals that directly supported caucus for their Private Members’ Business and Parliamentary Committee work.

Murray also built the policy platform for Mr. Poilievre’s record-smashing 2022 Conservative Party Leadership run and was the national pollster for the Conservative Party of Canada in the 2019 Canadian General Election.
